[Wedding Wednesday, Dominic & MaryKate] Chicago Wedding Photographer, Spirit of Chicago

When I first met Dominic & MaryKate, at their wedding consultation, we it off immediately. From our personalities to interest and we grew into a friendship.

A March 29, 2014 Wedding Day, when we are all itching for summer to arrive, how perfect was it to be able to sail out on Lake Michigan aboard The Spirit of Chicago beautiful boat for a dinner & wedding reception? It was just that, perfect. Their wedding day started off seperated of course, MaryKate at her childhood home in Chicago and Dominc at his apartment in the city of Chicago. As they both got ready calm, and collected, everyone then heading to the gorgeous Holy Family Church where their ceremony was. During the ceremony, they laughed, cried and got married. We then headed to a local bridge, by bride & groom request and did formal photos with the bridal party and then headed to Navy Pier for dinner & reception. Even with construction going on around Navy Pier, everyone boarded the boat and arrived on time. The details from the beautiful square head table with pizza cutters on each plate as a favor, to the gorgeous flowers, and of course the sunset peaking through each window both upstairs and downstairs on the dock. As guest boarded, and we then left the dock and sailed Lake Michigan, on a gorgeous night. The guests' took their seats and the bride/groom made their way from the upstairs balcony to the main level during their annoucement as husband & wife, and cut their cake followed by their first dance with a little movement of waves from Lake Michigan, the song was, "Everythiing," By: Michael Buble, and a blessing by the Groom's Uncle Mike. Dinner was served followed by continued first dances (father/daughter & mother/son). Dance floor opened and champagne toast and speeches were made and the dancing didn't stop until we docked back at Navy Pier.
